TPCO America Gives Back to the Community and Celebrates Employees

On December 10th, 2015, TPCO America donated 60 metric tons of steel pipe, worth an upwards of $70,000, to three local universities, colleges and training centers. Del Mar College and Craft Training Center plan to use the pipe for their high level welding programs. It is estimated enough pipe was donated to support their program for 2.5 years. Texas A&M University will use the pipe to research the building of artificial reefs in the Gulf of Mexico.

On December 19th, 2015, TPCO America sponsored the Gregory Spirit Fest, hosted by G.I.V.E. This is the 5th year for TPCO America to support the holiday event. TPCO America representatives were present at the event to wish the citizens of Gregory a happy holidays and assist in the charitable giving.

In the week leading up to the Christmas holiday December 17th – December 23rd, Chairman Li Qiang visited the TPCO America project and the surrounding area. Dr. Li is the chairman of the board of directors for TPCO and TPCO America. During his visit, Chairman Li toured the newly constructed rolling mill building and the currently operating end finishing facility. The Chairman also engaged TPCO America employees and local community leaders by speaking at the TPCO America Employee Celebration. On Dec. 22nd Chairman Li sat down to have lunch with several TPCO America employees to hear firsthand about the progress of the company.
